ITA Designated TrainerAdvance your career while you keep your job!

If you are already employed in the food service industry,
Professional Cook 1 and Professional Cook 2 training is available to you.
Each program takes twenty weeks, one day a week, so you can develop your skill base and advance your career training while you work. One additional session allows you to write the apprenticeship exam on site.

Cascade Culinary Arts School has a provincial contract to provide Level One and Level Two Cook’s Training Apprenticeship. This is good news for the food services industry in the Fraser Valley. Students who graduate from the Culinary Arts School are able to continue developing their expertise through Level Two Apprenticeship Training while working full-time in the local food services industry. Cooks already working in food services in the community are able to upgrade with Level One and Level Two Apprenticeship Training.

The next Professional Cook 1 apprenticeship course starts on February 9, 2010.

You can download and print the entire information and application package:
Professional Cook 1 Apprenticeship Training Application

Classes are on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 9:30 p.m. (Times may vary.)
The course consists of 20 sessions plus one additional session
to write the apprenticeship exam.

Spaces are limited. Phone the office to set up an interview with the executive chef. Once you have been approved for the program,
a $100.00 deposit will be required to reserve your place.

Because of assistance from the Province of British Columbia,
the total cost to the student is $400.00.

Phone us today to set up an interview: 604-556-7000.

Cascade Culinary Arts School is operated by The Salvation Army at their facility, Cascade Community Church.
